Who are we?

Certified Law Enforcement Tactics, LLC, is a New York State approved security guard certification training school that is recommended on the State web site for the Department of Criminal Justice Services. Our security officer certification training instructors are N.R.A. accredited and N.Y.S. certified in courses offered by our school. Further, our Instructors include retirees from several law enforcement agencies including New York City Police, Correction, and Fire Department as well as the United States Marshal Service. All ample reasons to choose us when researching what it takes to get your security guard license.

Our School Director is Nelson Pagan who retired after a twenty-year career working in both the New York City Department of Correction and the New York Police Department. He worked as a firearms instructor assigned to the Firearms tactics Unit of the Police Academy Range located at Rodman’s Neck Bronx, N.Y. Mr. Pagan has received Instructor security officer certification in N.R.A. and N.Y.S. courses offered at our school.

Our instructors have provided security guard certification training for the past ten years to hundreds of men and women who have retired from various law enforcement, military governmental agencies and private companies. They include:

What do we do?

We offer specific courses to Retired Police Officers, Peace Officers, Federally contracted security officers and civilian students that require such training in order to obtain and maintain their security guard license, as well as to retain employment.

Additionally, we offer application, electronic fingerprint information & scheduling service to our students upon completion of selected courses.
